How much does basement development cost in Calgary?
Every basement is different, so we quote each project individually after a free consultation with free layout and drawings. Your quote is fixed and detailed. With Calgary rental demand and the $80,000 federal loan program, a legal suite often pays for itself.
Do I need a permit to develop my basement in Calgary?
Yes. Adding bedrooms, bathrooms, electrical, plumbing or a suite requires City of Calgary permits. We prepare drawings, submit applications and manage every inspection for you.
How long does basement development take?
Most projects take 6 to 12 weeks depending on scope. Legal suites with new side entrances sit at the longer end; simple developments finish faster.
Can you build my basement as a legal rental suite?
Yes, that is our core specialty. Private entrance, egress windows, fire separation, sound control, kitchen and bath, all built to Alberta Building Code and registered with the city.
Do you serve Chestermere and Airdrie?
