Is it legal to run an Airbnb basement suite in Calgary?
Yes, with the right setup: a legal secondary suite, a City of Calgary short-term rental business licence and code-compliant construction. We build the suite to meet all of it.

Airbnb or long-term rental, which earns more?
A well-located Calgary Airbnb suite can outearn long-term rent, but takes more management. We build suites that work for both so you can switch anytime.
Can I use the City suite incentive on a short term rental?
This one matters. A suite that receives the City of Calgary Secondary Suite Incentive cannot be approved for a short term rental licence for two years after the funds are received. If short term letting is your plan, that restriction is worth deciding on before you apply for anything. Confirm the current rules with the City.
